Shuttle Brussels Airport (BRU)/Brussels City + Charleroi Airport (CRL)/Brussels City

There are two main airports in Belgium

Brussels Airport (BRU) is located in the city of Zaventem (north east of Brussels). The best and the cheapest way to go to the airport from Brussels or to leave the airport is the bus. The train is very expensive.

Bus: 12 or 21 (evenings and weekends). Price : 3,50 € (operated by STIB/MIVB, check their website). You must buy your ticket at a GO ticket vending machine. You could stop at Schuman and take the metro to any other station or the train.

CRL

CRL airport is called Brussels South because located in the south of Brussels, in the city of Gosselies (@ 50-60 kms !!!). Don't confuse with Charleroi-Sud which is a train station in the south of the city of Charleroi. Operated flights from Ryanair, Jetairfly, Wizzair & Freebird.

Bus Airport Express A : There is no train station in the airport. To reach the train station from the airport you must take the Airport Express bus (A). It will take you to Charleroi Sud train station. There are trains that will take you to Brussels or any city in Belgium. Check schedule and prices on SNCB website.

Bus L'Elan : Private company that operated a special shuttle from the CRL Airport to Brussels-City (the bus will take you to Gare du Midi in Brussels, Brussels-south station). Outside the airport you will find ticket vending machine. It costs 13 €

CRL to BRU - BRU to CRL

To go from CRL (Charleroi) airport to Brussels Airport (Zaventem) you can take the bus to the train station (Charleroi Sud) and then the train from Charleroi Sud to Brussels Airport

To go from Brussels Airport to Charleroi Sud Airport you take the train to Bruxelles Midi and at Bruxelles Midi the shuttle to Charleroi Sud
